Belgorod Governor announced the lack of money to restore destroyed housing

Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov called on the heads of municipalities to expedite work on the restoration of housing damaged by shelling. At the same time, according to him, there is no longer enough money for restoration.

He clarified that in three settlements of the Shebekinsky district, where there is major damage, they cannot yet begin work. “Already offhand, there is not enough money for restoration today in the fund that we have formed,” the governor said at the meeting (quote from the portal Go31).

Head of the Shebekinsky District Vladimir Zhdanov told1,150 apartments in 67 apartment buildings, as well as 370 private residential buildings in the Shebekinsky district, were damaged or completely destroyed in a week. He added that the number of destroyed dwellings in the municipality has reached 2,464.

Since the end of last week, residents began to leave en masse the city of Shebekino, located 6 km from the border with Ukraine. The authorities do not announce an official evacuation, but promise to help to leave. Townspeople complainedthat they are charged a fee of 3 thousand rubles. for the removal of each child.
