From September 23, it will be forbidden to export certain categories of goods from the territory of Belarus, including cars, about this reported in a resolution published on the national legal portal of the republic. At the same time, restrictions will also affect export processes with member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

“To establish a temporary ban on the export of goods outside the Republic of Belarus to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union according to the list according to the annex, regardless of the country of origin,” the document says. The restrictions will remain in effect until March 2023.

It is clarified that among the goods temporarily prohibited for export, in addition to cars, the document also includes motorcycles, bicycles, pharmaceutical products made from vulcanized rubber, smartphones, nuclear reactors, engines, etc.

At the same time, the ban does not apply to goods with a one-time export license, as well as to products whose Belarusian or Russian origin is confirmed by a certificate.

In April In Belarus it was introduced restriction on the export of buckwheat, sugar, salt, oil and other groceries from the country. Then the restriction applied only to export outside the EEAS, and not just Belarus. This decision was due to the increased demand for food products in the border areas.
