BC Uralmash parted ways with its head coach

The Yekaterinburg basketball club “Uralmash” announced personnel changes in the coaching staff.
According to the club’s official pages on social networks, the team’s preparation for the upcoming match against Kazan “Unix”, which will take place on December 18 in Yekaterinburg, is being carried out by senior coach Vadim Filatov.
The fate of head coach Milos Pavicevic has not been officially announced. But, according to executive director Sergei Domanov, quoted newspaper “Sport-Express”they decided to part ways with their mentor due to differences in views on the further development of the team.
Milos Pavicevic became the head of Uralmash in March 2023. Under his leadership, the “factory team” won gold medals in the Super League, after which the club was admitted to the United League. In the debut season under the leadership of the Russian-Montenegrin specialist, Uralmash played 16 games, winning eight victories. The team shares sixth-ninth places with Perm Parma, Moscow Runa and BC Samara.
