BBC presenter gives viewers the middle finger in news broadcast

British BBC news presenter Mariam Moshiri found herself in a scandalous situation on air, not having time to switch from communicating with colleagues to working for viewers.
At the very beginning of the news broadcast, viewers saw the program’s intro, then the broadcast switched to the studio and the camera took a close-up of the presenter, who at that moment was showing an obscene gesture at the camera and making a playful grimace. A moment later, Moshiri got back to work and, as if nothing had happened, began to acquaint the audience with the events of the day.
Later, the presenter apologized for the incident and explained that there was a misunderstanding: she did not calculate the time of the broadcast. Moshiri explained that before filming, she communicated with her colleagues on set, the director counted down from 10 to 0 using her fingers, and a second before turning on, she also jokingly showed one finger to her colleagues. On social networks, users are ironic that this was an example of truly honest journalism.
