According to the interlocutor’s recollections, even then this couple looked strange, and somehow their names were inscribed in the engraving on the monument to the deceased in the first lines. Although completely different people were involved in mourning matters.
The whole country knows about the machinations of scammers: an elderly couple almost robbed the daughter and widow of Alexei Batalov. Let us remind you that Drozhzhina-Tsivin appropriated three real estate properties (two apartments in the center of Moscow and an office space) and stole about 20 million rubles from the artist’s accounts. Now that the Batalovs, thanks to caring defenders and family friends, have won civil trials and obtained a guilty verdict against their offenders, we can sum up the results. True, despite the victories, justice has triumphed, unfortunately, so far only on paper.
“We congratulated Masha in a narrow circle; the Batalovs’ closest relatives, at most 8 people, were visiting. But it is very pleasant that many do not forget Alexey Batalov’s relatives; in their apartment the phone did not stop ringing with calls with congratulations.
Masha was very happy and treated the guests to her own charlotte. She went to the opera and wrote an 8-page essay, which she read out. She’s a great fellow, typing texts with one finger or wearing a special helmet with a “proboscis.”
Her health has deteriorated a little, all these unpleasant trips to court and meetings have taken their toll, but, as Masha said, now you can breathe a little sigh of relief: they say, now she and her mother are not afraid of being on the street. She recalled how terrible she felt when she found out that all the property “wasn’t ours,” but Tsivin and Drozhzhina, who had previously seemed to “help,” brought their closet into their apartment and began to dispose of the property.”
As family lawyer Tatyana Kireenko told MK, a trial is currently underway in the appellate court in a criminal case against Tsivin and Drozhzhina accused of fraud, as well as their accomplice, notary Bublius. Both sides disagree with the verdict. The victims believe that they are in danger from Drozhzhina, who remains at large, and those who are currently in the dock are trying in every possible way to obfuscate the process.
“Our procedural opponents are bombarding the court with petitions, challenges, and asking to change jurisdiction, allegedly because of the biased coverage of the trial by journalists. All this is aimed at delaying the case and avoiding punishment. I would like to note that out of a total of more than 20 million stolen, this couple returned about 20 thousand rubles to our clients; this money was collected by force. The last payment was for 13 rubles 50 kopecks. While in court we proved that expenses from the Batalovs’ accounts were not intended, this money was used to close accounts in restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Tsivin and Drozhzhina’s place of residence, as well as, for example, for drugs in pharmacies for diseases that no member suffers from the Batalov family,” the defender commented.
