Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin ordered the preparation of a report on the case of violence against a 17-year-old student in the city of Dolgoprudny (Moscow region), committed by a group of people from Central Asia. Information about this appeared in the official Telegram channel of the department.

As specified, a criminal case was opened on the basis of illegal actions of natives of Tajikistan against a minor student. According to investigators, they allegedly tried to rob a 17-year-old student, but, not finding money on him, decided to use sexual violence.

Bastrykin instructed the head of the Moscow region branch of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Starikov, to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the circumstances identified. The implementation of the order will be monitored by the central office of the department.
