Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg, Bobkov, to establish the circumstances of the death of actor Vadim Volkov, the website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports.

The head of the ICR now knows that the actor died on April 9, 2023. However, information appeared on social networks that Volkov was hit by a young man on an electric scooter. Users noted at the same time that the 18-year-old scooter was intoxicated.
The TFR has repeatedly drawn attention to such cases, resulting in initiatives to change the DDD associated with the use of electric scooters, the department noted. However, cases of injury to people as a result of aggressive riding on electric scooters have again become more frequent.
The death of Vadim Volkov shocked the theatrical community and the audience in St. Petersburg. The actor had leading roles in the performances of the Youth Theater on the Fontanka, he always charged the audience with his energy.
On April 8, Volkov did not go on stage, the next day an obituary appeared, in which the causes of Volkov’s death were not named. It was only noted that it had become sudden.
