The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Bastrykin became an honorary doctor of St. Petersburg State University

St. Petersburg State University announced the presentation of a diploma and the robe of an honorary doctor to the head of the RF Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin.

During the ceremony, Bastrykin addressed those gathered, calling on them to remember the teachers of the past. He emphasized that these were “front-line soldiers who came after the war, after the Great Victory.”

The publication notes that Bastrykin graduated from this university, formerly Leningrad State University, in 1975 and taught as a graduate student in the 80s, currently holding the title of professor. In 2018, the head of the Investigative Committee resumed his teaching activities – he gave a course of lectures to second-year students entitled “Detect. Inquiry. Investigation.”
