On December 3, the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be held at the exhibition-forum “Russia”.
“This is a unique chance to announce our republic, our plans, and tell how we are developing. All this will contribute to the development of our republic,” Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov said earlier at an operational meeting of the government.
The ceremonial opening of the Region Day with the participation of the head of the republic is planned to be held in the first half of the day. At the VDNKh site, the region will present an extensive program that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the national culture.
First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic Rustam Muratov noted that the exhibition stand of Bashkortostan is made in the shape of a spaceship looking into the future. The choice of topic is not accidental. The Republic, with its stand, symbolizes the movement towards new achievements and innovations together with the entire country. It is worth noting that cosmonauts in orbit eat Bashkir honey, components for rockets and satellites were produced in the region, and in the recreational areas of the subject, cosmonauts recover after flights.
At the stand, guests of the exhibition can fulfill their childhood dream – to take the chair of a spaceship captain and go on a trip to the most beautiful corners of the republic, as well as get acquainted with the achievements of Bashkortostan and its most daring projects.
From the very morning at the forum site, visitors can become participants in the Terra Bashkortostan and Terra Winter festivals. The traditional summer holiday for Bashkirs will turn into winter folk fun for children and adults. Especially for this, Kysh-Babai (Bashkir Father Frost) and one hundred of his granddaughters – Karkhylyu (Bashkir Snow Maiden) will come from Bashkortostan to VDNKh. They will hold the biggest round dance for the guests of the holiday and escort them to Kysh-Babai’s New Year’s house.
The Bashkirs also plan to surprise guests of the holiday with national treats: there will be master classes on making Gubadia, candies based on talkan – coarse flour made from roasted barley or wheat, dessert based on red cottage cheese and other dishes. In addition, participants in the gastronomic exhibition will prepare the largest bishbarmak in Russia.
