Bashkiria will form another nominal battalion of volunteers named after Salavat Yulaev to be sent to the NVO zone. About this in a video message published in Telegram channel battalion, said Arthur Yumaguzhin, adviser to the head of Bashkiria on interaction with the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. In October 2022, he initiated the creation of the first battalion named after Salavat Yulaev.
According to Mr. Yumaguzhin, the decision to recruit volunteers was made at the request of residents of Bashkiria who want to enter the military service. Until now, the command could not accept everyone who wanted to join the battalion because of the restrictions provided for in the staffing table.
The public headquarters of the formation being created has revised the requirements for the age of military personnel – men under 55 years old who are in good physical shape will be able to conclude a contract.
