Baltic Fleet Iskander crews practiced striking NATO headquarters

Crews of the Iskander operational-tactical missile systems of the Baltic Fleet conducted training on delivering a group strike against targets of a mock enemy. The training took place at one of the training grounds in the Kaliningrad region.
The Kaliningrad enclave shares a land border with two NATO countries, Poland and Lithuania. The range of Iskander ballistic missiles is up to 500 km. It is believed that the Iskander missiles can carry a tactical nuclear charge. Not so long ago, cruise missiles with a range of more than 1000 km were created for the Iskanders.
According to the press service of the Baltic Fleet, during the training, crews of the Iskander-M complexes from launch positions practiced launching group missile attacks on command posts, an airfield, railway junctions and other critical objects of the mock enemy. Training (electronic) launches of cruise missiles were carried out against “enemy” targets. Several Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems were used.
