Governor of the Zaporozhye region Evgeniy Balitsky announced “tough measures” for those who are delaying obtaining a Russian passport. He stated this on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
According to the head of the region, local residents will not be rushed until the New Year. Then they may be denied medical care without Russian documents.
Evgeniy Balitsky noted that more than 70% of residents of the Zaporozhye region received passports. The authorities carry out explanatory work with those who delay the preparation of documents.
