Acting Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo said that reports about the strengthening of the armed forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnieper under the Antonovsky bridge are not true. According to him, “small groups” of the enemy entrenched under the bridge, which were stopped by the Russian military.

“I officially announce that this is a lie. Separate small groups of the enemy in the last three days actually made several attempts to cross the Dnieper in boats and hide under the bridge. There they were destroyed by our military,” wrote Mr. Saldo in Telegram channel.

Previously Telegram channel “Rybar” reported that the armed forces of Ukraine use the Antonovsky bridge “as a stronghold and shelter from Russian artillery and aviation strikes.” According to the channel, the situation around the bridge remains “tense”.
