A resident of the city of Islamabad in Pakistan gave birth to a child with two penises and no anus. This is reported Daily Mail, citing the International Journal of Surgery Case Reports. It is specified that the child was born at the 36th week of pregnancy.
The doctors emphasized that both genitals of the baby have a normal shape, but the size differs from each other: the length of one is 1.5 centimeters, the second is 2.5 cm. After the study, the doctors found that despite the two genitals, the boy has one urinary bladder connected to two urethra.
After carrying out the necessary operations, the child remained in the hospital for two days under medical supervision. He was later discharged from the hospital.
The phenomenon in which a child is born with two genitals and no anus is called diphallia. To date, the causes and risk factors are unknown.
