“Azovets” who shot a DPR policeman received a life sentence in absentia

The Supreme Court of the DPR sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment a fighter of the nationalist association “Azov” (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) of the National Guard of Ukraine Nikolai Kushch. It is reported by the RF IC.
The investigation established that in mid-April last year, while patrolling the territory of Mariupol controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kushch shot a DPR people’s militia officer, took his weapon from him, turned him over on his back and shot him in the head with a machine gun.
It is specified that a criminal case was initiated against the militant under paragraphs “b”, “c”, “l” of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 1 of Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
