On March 19, the second game of the playoff series between the local SKA and Avtomobilist from Yekaterinburg took place in St. Petersburg. The guests won with a score of 1:3.

The scoring in the game was opened in the second period. First, Alexey Byvaltsev from Avtomobilist scored the puck. Stefan Da Costa, another player from the Sverdlovsk club, sent the second puck into the opponent’s goal when the teams were not playing on equal footing.

SKA managed to reduce the gap in the third period. But then Andrei Obidin from Avtomobilist set the final score in the match – 1:3.

“Fast game, with plenty of scoring chances. There was a lot of fighting, it was not for nothing that there were fights at the end of the match. “Men’s game,” Avtomobilist head coach Nikolai Zavarukhin said after the match. “The emphasis was on the second period, which didn’t work out for us in the previous meeting, but in this game we succeeded.”

The series score became 2:0 in favor of Avtomobilist. The teams will play their next games in Yekaterinburg on March 21 and 23.

The “army men” were considered the favorites of the meeting held in the Northern capital, as well as the entire confrontation.
