State company “Avtodor” made public fares for the remaining not yet open sections of the M-12 Moscow-Kazan highway. Now there are two unrelated segments of the route in the Moscow and Vladimir regions – from the Central Ring Road to the “big concrete road” and from M-7 to R-132 “Golden Ring”. At the beginning of September, Avtodor will open a through passage from Moscow (from Zeninskoye Highway, which is located 8 km from the Moscow Ring Road) to Arzamas: 415 km of the toll road will be available to drivers.
Avtodor has disclosed part of the tariffs so far – only for cars.
- From Moscow to Elektrougli (bypassing Balashikha) a trip will cost 130 rubles, to Orekhovo-Zuevo – 585 rubles, to Vladimir – 1.39 thousand rubles, to Arzamas – 2.82 thousand rubles.

Piotr Shkumatov, coordinator of the Blue Buckets movement, calls the prices high, but he is sure that the road will still be popular. The route along the M-12 from Moscow to Arzamas is shorter than along the free M-7. It will take three or four hours to get there by handkerchief, and not seven or eight hours, as it is now, he predicts. “Costs need to be correlated with fuel costs and travel time on the free M-7,” Andrey Mukhortikov, a member of the public council at the regional Ministry of Transport, agrees with him. “The Gorky highway is overloaded, passes through a lot of settlements, traffic lights, unregulated crossings. Speed limits change from 90 to 60 km/h and back. M-12 will give a much more uniform regime.
If you move evenly, for example, at a speed of 100-110 km / h, fuel consumption will be lower, “due to this saving, up to 40% of the tariff can be compensated,” says Mr. Mukhortikov.
Petr Shkumatov predicts that before Kazan the final tariff for M-12 will not exceed 4,000 rubles. for cars. Taking into account the price of gasoline at the rate of consumption of 10 liters per 100 km, the entire road will cost about 8.5 thousand rubles, he calculated. According to the Aviasales ticket aggregator, the average check for booking air tickets on the Moscow-Kazan route in August is 4.7 thousand rubles, in September – 5 thousand rubles.
