Avangard’s best forward recovered before the match with Lokomotiv

Omsk Avangard strengthened its squad before the third match of the quarterfinal series with Lokomotiv, thanks to the foreign forward. In Yaroslavl, during the pre-match warm-up, journalists saw Ryan Spooner.

Spooner did not participate in the second match with Lokomotiv. As reported before the match, he was slightly ill. The match ended with the defeat of Avangard on its own field. The loss cost the position of head coach of the Hawks, Mikhail Kravets.

Now Avangard is preparing for the match under the leadership of Sergei Zvyagin, the team’s second coach. Spooner will play in the top three forwards, along with Reed Boucher and Vladimir Tkachev.
