At midnight on December 5, atmospheric pressure in Moscow reached 771.2 mm Hg. Art. This was a new record in the entire history of meteorological observations, said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center.
“At midnight on December 5, atmospheric pressure immediately exceeded the record by 7 mm of mercury,” Mr. Vilfand told TASS.
Atmospheric pressure in Moscow updates the record for the third day in a row. On December 3, it rose to 770.9 ml of mercury, on December 4 – to 771.1. The pressure norm for the city is 748 mm.
