Athletes from Zaporozhye region took part in the Polar Olympics

From March 27 to 30, sailing competitions were held in the Murmansk region as part of the Polar Olympics.

More than two dozen athletes from 11 regions, including the Zaporozhye region, competed in the following disciplines: class – snowkiting marathon – skis and class – snowkiting marathon – board.

As the government of the Murmansk region noted, for athletes from new territories this is an excellent opportunity for professional development and exchange of experience with colleagues from other regions of Russia.

Thanks to the support of the federal government and regional leaders, repairs and restoration of facilities are actively underway in new regions sports infrastructure.
