In mid-December, the Cup of Russia and the All-Russian competition “Silver Glove” in savate were held in St. Petersburg. Two Trans-Baikal athletes took second place in their weight categories, according to the group of the Chita CDC Sputnik.

Competitions were held in two disciplines: “asso” (light contact) and “komba” (hard contact). The current winners and prize-winners of the championships of the World, Europe and Russia took part in the competition.

In the weight category up to 65 kg “silver” was won by the teacher of the Sputnik CDC Grigory Magaryan. Also, his pupil Maxim Zarubin won the second place in the weight category up to 30 kg.

Previously “MK in Chita” reported that the Trans-Baikal schoolboy won the All-Russian boxing competition and became a member of the Russian national team in this sport.
