Athletes from the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug took gold, silver and bronze at the international archery tournament

Yamal residents won four awards at international archery competitions, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported on December 11.
In the team finals of the compound bow discipline, Yamal athletes won two victories. Among women, Victoria Balzhanova, Ksenia Gerasimova and Arina Rebrushkina became champions. Among the men’s teams, the first place on the podium was taken by Viktor Kalashnikov, Mark Rogov and Dmitry Starostin.
In the personal finals of the compound bow discipline, Mark Rogov was the silver medalist, Victoria Balzhanova won bronze.
Athletes train at the Labytnang Olympic Reserve Sports School named after Tatyana Akhatova, coaches are Badmazhap Tsybikov, Nikolai Dagbaev, Semyon Protopopov. International archery competitions are held in Chita from December 8 to 12. 481 athletes from 17 countries are participating.
