Sakhalin athlete Viktor Usov became the bronze medalist of the Spartan World Championship in Abu Dhabi. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.
The competition took place over three days in individual and team competitions at distances from 3 to 21 km. The islander competed in the 21-kilometer “Beast” distance. Competitors overcame quicksand, monkey bars, rope climbs, carried heavy loads, shot electronic pistols and other obstacles.
Previously “MK on Sakhalin” wrotethat the island athlete Sergei Pylyaev twice became the gold medalist of the international obstacle race Phuket Spartan Trifecta and the Asia Pacific Championship. The competition took place in Thailand and attracted more than 10 thousand participants from different countries.
