The Moscow Region team won 10 medals at the Russian Diving Championship
Athletes from the Moscow region received six gold, three silver and one bronze medals at the Russian Championship. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the region.
Olympic medalist and multiple winner and medalist of the European and World Championships Alexander Bondar together with the winner and medalist of the World and European Championships Elizaveta Kuzina received a gold medal in pair jumping. Elizaveta Kuzina also won a gold medal in women’s synchronized diving. She paired with two-time world champion and world championship winner Kristina Ilinykh.
In single jumps, Elizaveta Kuzina received a bronze medal, and Kristina Ilyinykh took first place. She became the leader of the entire championship in terms of the number of awards. Alexander Bondar received a gold and two silver medals in 10-meter jumps and pair jumps.
The Russian Diving Championship was held from 24 to 29 June in Yekaterinburg. Athletes from the Moscow region presented the regional Sports Training Center for Olympic sports and the regional Sports School of the Olympic Reserve for water sports.
