Athletes from the Arkhangelsk region won six more medals at the Summer Paralympic Games. On October 6, the national team of our region, which includes athletes with a lesion of the musculoskeletal system, won three silver and three bronze medals at the Summer Paralympic Games “We are together. Sport” in Sochi. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.
The silver medalists were Galina Fedurina in the 100m breaststroke, Victoria Tsvetkova in the 100m butterfly and Nikita Pavlov in the 100m backstroke.
Bronze medals went to the Honored Master of Sports of Russia Svetlana Sergeeva in the shot put, as well as to Nikita Pavlov in the 200-meter individual medley and the 50-meter butterfly.
In table tennis in doubles Darina Kucheruk and Ellina Shaidullina, as well as Milana Rodygina and Maria Saitova reached the semifinals, and Maxim Nikandrov and Matvey Begoulev reached the quarterfinals.
