Athletes from Serpukhov excelled at regional swimming competitions

In the sports and recreation complex “Meteor” named after Elena Donskoy (Balashikha), the Moscow regional swimming competitions were held, timed to coincide with Children’s Day. Athletes from the urban district of Serpukhov successfully performed at them.
Pupils of the Zvezda sports school showed excellent results. The winners were:
Savely Petrunin,
Vera Ivannikova,
Rostislav Bazeev,
Georgy Minaev,
Ivan Trofimov,
Timofey Eremin.
Ulyana Bataykina received the Cup and a medal for the 2nd place in the all-around sum.
In total, about 370 athletes from 36 cities of the Moscow region took part in the competition. They swam three different distances and participated in four relay races, playing 16 sets of awards in 8 age categories.
