A few days ago, the telegram channel “Futsal Russia” announced on its official resources that the IFC “Football-Hockey-NN”, which represented Gorodets in the Premier League, ceased to exist. According to the results of the 2022-2023 season, the team from Gorodets took the last place in the regular championship of the PARI Major League, however, it managed to pass the preliminary stage of the Russian Cup and brought one of the best teams in the country, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, to Gorodets.
Roman Smotrakov spoke about the fate of the team in an interview with a correspondent of MK in Nizhny Novgorod.
The team has now disbanded. It will definitely not retain its name, we will not play under the ‘Football-Hockey-NN’ brand. Now there is no specific information, perhaps the team will continue to play in the Major League under a different name. After the end of the 2022-2023 season, all players were paid off, albeit with a slight delay, – said Roman Smotrakov in an interview with a correspondent of MK in Nizhny Novgorod.
