Athletes from Karelia on October 29 in Murmansk showed excellent results in track and field athletics competitions. Among the girls at a distance of 1000 meters, Daria Ivanova won. Silver in the women’s 60 meters was won by Maria Popchenko, bronze medal was won by Valentin Grishin. Yevgeny Repkin also brought a silver medal to the republic’s treasury at the same distance.
