Athletes from all over Russia will set sails over the snow-covered tundra in Teriberka

The Murmansk region will again host the All-Russian winter sailing competitions. The series of competitions will take place on the 27th kilometer of the Kola-Lotta highway and at the foot of Mount Eriveive near Teriberka, the regional government reported.
Gorya Erivave is the most famous kite spot in the Kola Arctic near Teriberka. Every year, talented athletes from all over Russia set sail over the endless snow-covered tundra.
As part of the Polar Olympics, on March 30, the Erivave festival will be held in this iconic place for the third time. Among the participants are amateurs and titled professionals, as well as prize-winners of all-Russian and international competitions, winners of the Russian Cup.
Various activities will be organized for guests of the event and delicious northern cuisine will be offered.
