An athlete from Buryatia, Kristina Tkacheva, won a gold medal at the Russian Boxing Championship, held the day before in Ufa. Kristina Tkacheva (over 81 kg), competing for the Moscow region and Buryatia, defeated Ksenia Olifirenko (Krasnodar Territory) in the final match with a score of 5:0.
Our fellow countrywoman was awarded a gold medal, a championship belt and a certificate worth 1.5 million rubles.
Kristina Tkacheva from the Bichursky district of Buryatia, is a bronze medalist at the 2018 World Championships, a silver medalist at the European Championships of the same year, three-time champion of Russia (2018, 2019, 2023), two-time world champion among juniors, international master of sports.
Earlier, “MK in Buryatia” reported that our team also distinguished itself at the same Russian boxing championship Darima Sandakova (70 kg), who won a landslide victory over the current world champion Anastasia Demurchyan from the Krasnodar Territory.
Lyudmila Vorontsova (57 kg) lost to 7-time Russian champion Daria Abramova from Chelyabinsk, and Elena Gapeshina (75 kg) lost to Anastasia Shamonova from Sochi in an equal fight.
The Buryat athletes have 2 gold medals, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals (Sharapova’s love).
