On Monday, February 5, a friendly match between CSKA Moscow and Fakel Voronezh took place in Belek, Turkey, which could have ended in a draw if not for an own goal by Vladislav Masterny. As a result, the match ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the army team. Let us remind you that “Fakel” is currently at winter training camp in Turkey.
In the first half, Fakel goalkeeper Alexander Belenov managed to distinguish himself. The defenders of our team were not so active, and the goalkeeper fought off CSKA attacks so much. The first half miraculously ended in a draw. But immediately after the break something happened that no one expected. Chilean Victor Davila shot into the penalty area from a zero angle and hit Masterny – the ball bounced into the net, which gave CSKA an advantage in the score.
Not only did Masternoy “distinguish himself” in today’s match, he also managed to get a second yellow card for roughly knocking down Davila. After being sent off, “Fakel” began to play better. However, in the final, our team player Khyzyr Appaev for some reason did not take advantage of the fall of the CSKA player and missed, aiming for the far corner.
Roman Akbashev tried to save the situation at the end of the match, but being left alone with the opposing goalkeeper, he was unable to hit the net.
