On February 24, within the framework of the All-Russian ski racing competition “Champion Heights”, a men’s skiathlon for 30 kilometers took place. Starts were held on the basis of the Ustyansk “Malinovka”. More than 40 skiers from Russia and the Republic of Belarus took part in them. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk region.

An indisputable victory in this race was won by an athlete representing the Arkhangelsk region and the Ski Club “ULK”, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov.

Alexander Bolshunov dedicated his first gold of the Champions Heights to his wife Anna, who is celebrating her birthday today. On February 25 at 11 a.m., a women’s skiathlon will take place as part of the starts.
