Operations on the accounts of the Ufa hockey club “Salavat Yulaev” have been suspended as of today, January 30, by decision of the interdistrict inspection of the Federal Tax Service-2 for Bashkiria, as follows from the information from SPARK-Interfax. The reason is non-payment of taxes, fees, penalties or fines. In total, accounts in six banks were blocked: Gazprombank, Sberbank, Alfa Bank, Uralsib, VTB and the All-Russian Regional Development Bank.
General Director of Salavat Yulaev Rinat Bashirov confirmed this information. “Indeed, by decision of the Federal Tax Service, transactions on bank accounts have been suspended. This does not interfere with the club’s operations. The fact is that the receipt of tranches does not always coincide with the deadline for paying taxes. We have arrears in so-called salary taxes – personal income tax and payments to social funds: about 23.4 million rubles. On February 1, we will receive a tranche from the Fund for Social Targeted Programs of the Republic, which finances the club, and we will pay off the debt,” said Mr. Bashirov.
