Astrophysicists warned of a magnetic storm expected on Wednesday
Specialists from the Solar X-ray Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that a large ejection of matter from the Sun towards the Earth could cause a magnetic storm on March 14.
It is assumed that the strength of the magnetic storm will correspond to category G1 or G2, that is, the geomagnetic storm will not be too strong.
Magnetic storms are sometimes accompanied by auroras, astrophysicists recalled.
