A team of astronomers from Italy said they found a planet similar to Neptune in size, which turned out to be the densest of the space objects of this volume.
The object, called TOI-1853b, was found using the TESS space telescope, and then the discovery was confirmed using the MuSCAT2, ULMT, SOAR and LCOGT telescopes, as well as the HARPS-N spectrograph, the Jenimi-North and Keck observatories.
It is assumed that the planet consists mainly of rocks and has a thin layer of the atmosphere.
