Assistant Prosecutor won the Karelia Chess Championship

As reported in the Public Directorate of Sports, Assistant Prosecutor of Petrozavodsk Bazhen Radkov became the champion of Karelia in chess.
The competition took place at sports school No. 2 in Petrozavodsk. Blitz games were played by 57 chess players from Kondopoga, Kostomuksha, Petrozavodsk, Belomorsk, Olonets, Prionezhsky district, as well as guests from Apatity and Helsinki.
The winner of the tournament with a score of 11 points out of 13 was assistant prosecutor of Petrozavodsk Bazhen Radkov. Silver went to Mikhail Yachmenev, and bronze to Andrey Ievlev. Trofim Krupnov, a student of sports school No. 2, showed the best result among schoolchildren, and Alexey Loboda became the champion among veterans.
Previously reportedthat a bodybuilder from Petrozavodsk became a bronze world champion.
