Volleyball players from Nizhny Novgorod ASK continue to compete in the regular championship of the PARI-Super League for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Nizhny Novgorod is performing much weaker than before. Andrei Dranishnikov’s team played 13 official matches during the 2023-2024 season and won only 2 victories, being stronger in meetings against Gazprom-Yugra and Neftyanik. Only 6 points scored force ASC to close the standings of the elite division of Russian volleyball.
In the first official match of 2024, volleyball players from Nizhny Novgorod ASK will play at home. Guests representing “Fakel” from Novy Urengoy will come to Nizhny Novgorod. At the moment, “Fakel” ranks 11th in the regular season standings, being outside the relegation zone. “Fakel” has 15 points and 20 winning games. The club from Novy Urengoy is 9 points behind the ASK volleyball players. In the last two head-to-head matches, Fakel was stronger.
