Volleyball players from Nizhny Novgorod ASK continue to compete in the PARI-Super League for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Nizhny Novgorod shows weak results during the 2023-2024 season, finishing the regular season in the second half of the standings. Based on the results of 30 matches played, ASK volleyball players took 15th place, gaining only 16 points. Andrei Dranishnikov’s team played poorly in the regular season and were only ahead of their opponents from Nizhnevartovsk, who scored one point less.

In the first match of the tournament for survival, ASK volleyball players met with opponents from Orenburg. The red-blacks showed high-quality play throughout the match and were close to victory, but Neftyanik was better and stronger in each episode. In all games, the Nizhny Novgorod team put up worthy resistance to their opponents and were close to winning the game, but they failed to score 25 points. The second game ended in the defeat of ASK with a score of 26:24, which shows the potential of Andrei Dranishnikov’s team to maintain their place in the elite.

ASC volleyball players will play the next match of the tournament for survival on April 13. The red-blacks will play against rivals from Nizhnevartovsk.
