Fox News: In Panama, archaeologists have found an ancient tomb with gold and artifacts
Scientists have discovered a 1,200-year-old tomb filled with gold treasures and artifacts in Panama. Fox News writes about this.
It is noted that human remains were also found in the tomb, which indicate that sacrifices were made at this place.
Presumably, the tomb was built between 750 and 800 AD and was dedicated to a certain noble person. In the grave, archaeologists found two belts made of spherical gold beads, a set of round gold plates, and gold-plated earrings made from sperm whale teeth.
The head of the archaeological project added that the tomb was filled with the bodies of other people who accompanied the leader to the afterlife.
