The concert of “Night Snipers” by Diana Arbenina was held at the site of the “Express” complex, correspondents of TASS and the local portal 161.ru report. The day before, June 26, State Duma deputy from the Rostov region Ekaterina Stenyakina reportedthat the concert will not take place, as she asked to cancel it because of the anti-war views of the singer.
According to the deputy Stenyakina, on June 14, the management of the Express complex informed the organizers of the concert that “holding the event is not possible.” However, according to a reporter 161.ru, right now in Express there is a concert by Diana Arbenina. Before the concert, judging by the photographs of the correspondent TASSnear the complex lined up a large queue of fans of the work of “Night Snipers”.
Earlier, Ekaterina Stenyakina sent an appeal to the management of Express, in which she asked to cancel the concert of Diana Arbenina, since the singer opposed the annexation of Crimea to Russia and against the military operation in Ukraine. As a support for Rostovites, the deputy offered the singer to perform for free in the hospital in front of the wounded soldiers.
By data Telegram-channel Baza, after Ms. Stenyakina’s statement, the head of Express received a call “from the leadership of Russian Railways” and said that the concert “still needs to be held.”
