Sakhalin residents determined the strongest in the third stage of the aquathlon. Fans of an active lifestyle had to swim 1000 meters in the 50-meter pool of the water sports sports school, as well as run 5 km, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region reported.
According to the results of the competition, Nina Kazimirova showed the best result among women – 44 minutes 39 seconds. The second was Yulia Gurskaya (50:34). Irina Molchanova rounded out the top three (51:40).
Among men aged 18-30, Vitaly Sheremetiev was the first (36:27). The second place was taken by Alexander Shalimov (39:38). Sergey Krivich finished third (47:12).
Evgeny Valiev (33:14) became the fastest among men aged 31-40. Kirill Smirnov lost the victory to him (33:54). Alexander Yablochnikov took an honorable third place (35:58).
Among men aged 41-50 Ruslan Gizatulin took the first place (41:45). Vitaly Salomatov finished second (43:36). The top three was closed by Vladislav Skovorodkin (43:57).
Roman Maidonov won in the senior men’s age group “51+” (42:49). Second places, showing the same time, were taken by two athletes at once – Albert Arteev and Sergey Grebenyuk (43:11). Anatoly Moskvichev climbed to the third step of the podium (44:32).
Igor Belanov and Yury Lagun became the leaders in the team championship (29:11). Elena Burikova and Ilyas Nurgaliyev finished second (34:17). The third place was taken by Olga and Evgeniya Zhizhikin (44:30).
