The American company Apple at the online presentation officially introduced the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. The new smartphone will have the old A15 Bionic processor. The presented phone does not visually differ from the iPhone 13, except for the color design.
Base models with 6.1-inch (iPhone 14) and 6.7-inch (iPhone 14 Plus) screens received not only the design from the previous generation of the smartphone, but also the A15 chip that was used in the iPhone 13. The new smartphone may be available for the first time in the version with eSIM only – without a slot for a physical SIM card. Also for the first time, the iPhone received support for satellite communications, but you can only use it for emergency calls and text messaging – the feature will be available from November in the US and Canada.
The novelties received an improved camera with a main lens of 12 megapixels, as well as a new front camera of 12 megapixels, which is equipped with autofocus. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have optimized their cameras for better low-light shooting, and added Action Mode for video for better action shots.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available in five body colors. Pre-orders for smartphones will begin on September 9, sales of the iPhone 14 starting at $799 will start on September 16, and the Phone 14 Plus starting at $899 will hit the market on October 7.
