Apple Corporation has allowed developers from Russia to set up payments in applications through third-party payment systems. This was reported by iPhones.ru.
Journalists found out that the company allowed Russian developers to add links to external resources to the application in order to be able to pay for services. Such links will only be displayed to Russian users.
The American company clarified that to set up this function, smartphone holders need to use the Russian API tool StoreKit External Purchase Link Entitlement. As a result, users from Russia will be able to buy services without using the App Store system.
