Anti-COVID measures are being strengthened in Primorye for the duration of the EEF

Additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 have been introduced in Primorye during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). The forum will be held from September 5 to 8.

“Organizations providing services in the field of transport, catering, hotel services, and other companies participating in the reception and service of participants and guests of the EEF-2022 are recommended to use masks and organize the issuance of personal respiratory protective equipment to visitors,”— reported today, September 1, in the press service of the government of Primorye with reference to the decision of the regional operational headquarters.

In the premises and on transport related to the EEF, it is prescribed to carry out sanitization at the beginning and end of the day or shift, and in crowded places to carry out such work every four hours.

According to the government of Primorye, 568 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the region over the past day.

The Eastern Economic Forum will be held from 5 to 8 September on Russky Island in Vladivostok. Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to take part in its work.
