Another 22 Russian citizens and members of their families crossed the Rafah checkpoint. This was announced on Tuesday, December 12, by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The evacuation of Russians from the Gaza Strip against the background of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict continues, the department noted.
Russians and their relatives who left the Gaza Strip are heading to Cairo on buses, from where they will be taken to Russia by plane from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Earlier, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki warned that the double standards of the international community regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip will spread throughout the world in the future if they are not stopped. The diplomat called for stopping “Israel’s brutal crimes in Gaza”.
Despite these calls, Washington assures Tel Aviv of its commitment to providing military support. US President Joe Biden promised that American authorities would supply weapons to Israel until Hamas is completely destroyed.
