The Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Andrey Seredkin, wrote on his VKontakte page that he had taken part in a meeting of the relevant committee of the State Duma, where they discussed plans for the development of curling in Chita.
Andrey Seredkin and Committee Chairman Dmitry Svishchev, who also runs the Russian Curling Federation, set out a strategy for creating a regional federation and developing the sport in the regional capital.
“Thanks to the significant assistance from the Russian Curling Federation, another interesting sport will appear in Transbaikalia,” the minister wrote.
Recallfor several years now, in the Chita village of KSK, a kind of curling tournament has been held, in which the shells are replaced by large plastic bottles with multi-colored liquid, and everyone can take part.
