Over 11 thousand Muscovites were able to get acquainted with the work of the flagship and urological center of the Botkin Hospital, as well as the new complex of Infectious Clinical Hospital No. 1, thanks to the open excursion project.

“This year we began to conduct exclusive excursions for Muscovites to new hospitals before their opening. The format turned out to be incredibly popular and received positive responses from citizens. We even expanded the number of recording slots due to high demand,” said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.

At the country’s largest Infectious Clinical Hospital No. 1, excursion participants learned about the specifics of treating diseases, the system of Meltzer boxes to prevent the spread of infections, they were shown the intensive care unit, the operating room and the incubator box for premature babies.

In the flagship and urological centers of the Botkin Hospital, citizens were able to see high-tech equipment, the work of a digital clinic, unique DaVinci surgical robots, a triage post, a hybrid operating room, a diagnostic ward, an intensive care unit and much more.

Medical workers and employees of the My Documents public service centers became guides to the world of healthcare.
