Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova visited the Center for Modern Methods of Preschool and Primary Education. She said that more than 45 thousand employees work in the field of preschool education in the capital. The center was opened to improve their skills, the deputy mayor said.

The development of the child’s first life skills and, in many respects, the future path of young Muscovites depends on each of the educators, the deputy mayor said. She also stated the importance of a close connection between preschool education and school education, which helps to create a system of continuity in preparing children for grade 1.

Weekly trainings are held on the basics of reading and mathematical literacy of children, the use of STEM technologies in kindergartens and other topics.

The center opened in January 2022. More than 3.6 thousand teachers from 307 Moscow schools and kindergartens became its visitors.
