Weather in Moscow: warmth returns to the capital

The thick fog that enveloped Moscow on the morning of September 27 has become one of the indicators of weather changes in the capital region. In the first days of October, the air in Moscow can warm up to 21 degrees Celsius.

Forecasters explained the morning fog by the fact that the clouds that had scattered over the city deprived the earth of a “thermal cushion” and at night it began to cool rapidly. By morning, due to a strong drop in temperature (in some places near Moscow it was even negative), the water vapor contained in the air condensed, creating a dense haze. This phenomenon is called "cooling fog".

But when the peeping sun again warmed the air, there was no trace of the fog. And the weather in Moscow began to improve.

According to the forecasts of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation, on Thursday, September 29, the daytime in the capital will be 12-14 degrees Celsius, on Friday, September 30, the air temperature will rise to 12-17 degrees, on Saturday, October 1, 14-19 degrees are expected, and on Sunday, October 2, the thermometers will be able to rise to 21 degrees at all.

As for precipitation, the opinions of weather forecasters differ here: some predict cloudless days on Thursday and Friday, others report that no rain is expected on Friday and Saturday. But in any case, there will be no showers or thunderstorms, so you can safely plan outdoor recreation for the weekend.
