An unknown edition of the manuscript of the song “In the Cold” by Vladimir Vysotsky was sold for 260 thousand rubles. at the online auction of the Literary Fund. They took place yesterday, October 5, the press service of the auction house told RIA Novosti.
It is not specified who bought the manuscript. The auction also included a rare edition of Peter the Great by Johann Buchner, “The Teaching and Practice of Artillery or a Clear Description,” the cost of which was 950 thousand rubles.
In January 2020, Litfond exhibited for auction a draft manuscript of the song “Executioner” by Vladimir Vysotsky. The recording was made in black ink with numerous copyright edits. The lot was valued at 500 thousand rubles, but in the end it was sold for 700 thousand rubles.
